Somos sospechosos para relatar lo que vimos en Bilbao el pasado viernes en lo que se refiere a Suicidal Tendencies. Intentaré ser imparcial aunque muchos pensarán que estoy siendo “tendencioso”. Ya son 35 años siguiendo a la banda, son shows vistos en diferentes épocas, décadas, países y ciudades y el tiempo parece no pasar para Mr. Muir, quien ya está en la segunda generación de Trujillo, recordando que el actual bajista es hijo del viejo y mítico Trujillo (ahora en Metallica), quien además de este también tiene un joven baterista y Ben Weinman (The Dillinger Escape Plan ) compartiendo los riffs de guitarra con Dean Pleasants. Todo este desbarajuste técnico dio como resultado un show que no solo destrozó las expectativas sino que, lo creas o no, dejó a Bad Religion con la difícil misión de superar la locura que era el show de SxTx.

Tuvimos de todo y para todos, “You Can Bring Me Down”, “I Shot Reagan” y todos los clásicos cerrando con “Pledge Your Allegiance”.

We are suspicious to report what we saw in Bilbao last Friday when it comes to Suicidal Tendencies. I will try to be impartial even though many will think that I am being “tendentious”. It's been 35 years following the band, they're shows seen at different times, decades, countries, and cities and time doesn't seem to pass for Mr. Muir, who is already in the second generation of Trujillo, remembering that the current bassist is the son of the old and legendary Trujillo (now in Metallica), who in addition to this also has a young drummer and Ben Weinman (The Dillinger Escape Plan) sharing the guitar riffs with Dean Pleasants. All this technical mess resulted in a show that not only shattered expectations but also, believes it or not, left Bad Religion with the difficult mission of overcoming the madness that was the SxTx show.

We had all the classics in a row, “You Can Bring Me Down”, “I Shot Reagan” and much more, closing set with “Pledge Your Allegiance”.
