Millencolin resultó ser la gran sorpresa de la noche. No, no nos equivocamos, sabemos que los suecos llevan décadas en la carretera y sí descubrimos al grupo en su primer disco, seguimos la evolución de su sonido, positiva y/o negativa si cabe la palabra negativa. Sí, hemos visto a Millencolin tocar en directo en otras ocasiones, pero esta vez fue, de sobras, la mejor de todas. Quizás porque es un set corto ya que la gira tiene este formato de festival, todo es muy dinámico y rápido.

El cuarteto presentó algunos de sus trabajos más recientes pero no tardaron en poner las cartas sobre la mesa y seren impecables con los clásicos como “Twenty Two”, “Olympic”, “Mr.Clean” y “No Cigar” más “Fox” y “Penguins & Polarbears” con los guitarristas Mathias Farm y Frederik Larzon siendo los auténticos maestros sobre el escenario, no solo por sus riffs sino también por su verdadera conexión con el público. Un directo digno del evento y que merece todo nuestro reconocimiento.

Millencolin turned out to be the biggest surprise of the night. No, we are not making a mistake, we know that the Swedes have been on the road for decades and yes we discovered the group on their first album, we followed their sound evolution, positive and/or negative if anything can be considered negative. Yes, we've seen Millencolin playing live on other occasions but this time was by far the best of them all. Maybe because it's a short set since the tour has this festival format, everything is very dynamic and fast. The quartet presented some of their most recent work but it didn't take long to put the cards on the table and be impeccable with classics like “Twenty-Two”, “Olympic”, “Mr.Clean” & “No Cigar” + “Fox” and “Penguins & Polarbears” all with guitarists Mathias Farm and Frederik Larzon being the real maestros on stage, not only for their riffs but also for their true connection with the audience.

A show worthy of the event and that deserves all our recognition.
