Sería muy fácil poner Sick Of It All y Good Riddance como reclamo en el titulo del post.  Pero el mundo del Hardcore también   pasa por visitas inesperadas, de estas que en muy pocas ocasiones tendremos oportunidades de vivirlas y en el caso de Snap, registrarlas.    Enterarse de que Creep Division tocará en la Rocksound en el After Party de la gran gira que nos ofrece HFMN con los grupos mencionados arriba más la participación del Blowfuse que, para los que no han podido estar en el pasado mes de Marzo, cuando el cuarteto nos ofreció un concierto para presentar su Daily Ritual (Galeria de Fotos), fue un pico de adrenalina como hace mucho no vivimos.

Decir que somos un experto en Hardcore y que conocemos el grupo desde los principios de los años 2000 seria una mentira.  Pero sí es una verdad que hace unos años, visitando Montreal (Quebec), pasé por una feria de discos, de estas que venden todo por 1 Euro, o mejor, 1 Dólar Canadiense que sería por aquel entonces unos 0,70 céntimos de Euro.  La feria, al contrario de aqui que se organiza en unos sitios guays, era en una finca bastante cutre.  Allí, dado los precios del CD, decidi comprar algunos y si os digo la verdad, el único disco que compré sabiendo el que compraba fue un Good Riddance “Coverups”, todos los demás compré por su nombre y/o portada, el clásico “Ese nombre mola y parece hardcore” o “Portada siniestra, tiene que ser bueno”.  En este “pack” vino dos Creep Division, el disco autointitulado y un Split de I Want Out que es otra banda del bajista del Good Riddance (Chuck Platt).  Está claro de que so me dí cuenta de lo que tenia en manos cuando llegué en Barcelona y pude abrir y escuchar los discos 

Mañana en la Razz, tendremos una vez más el Sick Of It All que ya sabemos, no falla nunca y estarán presentando su nuevo disco Wake The Sleeping Dragon.  El SOIA tiene tamaña importancia en el Hardcore que podríamos verlos una vez al año y no nos cansaríamos.   Mejor aun cuando el Good Riddance, el que también ya pasó por aqui hace un par de años y que de esta vez si rumorea un puñado de clásicos de A Comprehensive Guide To Moderne Rebellion y Ballads From The Revolution, dos discos que no hace mucho, cumplieran dos décadas de publicación.

Os digo en serio, no perdais la noche de mañana.

It would too easy to put Sick Of It All and Good Riddance as a claim in the title of the post. But the world of Hardcore also goes through unexpected visits, of these that in very few occasions we will have opportunities to live them and in the case of Snap, register them. Find out which Creep Division will play in the Rocksound in the After Party of the great tour offered by HFMN with the groups mentioned above plus the participation of the Blowfuse that, for those who couldn't be last month at Razz 3 venue, when the quartet has offered us a concert to present their new album, Daily Ritual (Photo Gallery), it was a shot of adrenaline that we didn´t have for a long.

To say that we are an expert in Hardcore and that we know the group since the early 2000s would be a lie. But it is true that a few years ago, visiting Montreal (Quebec), I went through a record sell, those ones that give everything for 1 Euro, or better, 1 Canadian Dollar that would be at that time about 0.70 Euro cents. This record sell, unlike here in Barcelona that is organized in some cool places, was in a very weird building. There, considering the prices of the CD, I decided to buy some and telling the truth, the only CD I bought knowing by name was the Good Riddance "Coverups", all the others I bought by name and/or cover, the classic situation "That name is cool and seems hardcore" or "Sinister cover, it has to be good". In the "pack" came two Creep Division, the self-titled disc and a Split one with I Want Out which is another Chuck Platt's band (Good Riddance). It is clear that I only realized what I had in my hands when I arrived in Barcelona and able to open and listen to the CDs.  

Tomorrow at Razz, we will once again have the Sick Of It All that we already had seen many times before and we know that they never fail and they will be presenting their new album Wake The Sleeping Dragon. The SOIA is so important in the Hardcore that we could see them once a year and we would not get tired. Better even when the Good Riddance, which also played here a few years ago but for 2019 we will have (possibly) some classics of A Comprehensive Guide To Modern Rebellion and Ballads From The Revolution, two albums that not long ago had complete two decades of existence.
